ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of SGT Julia (Santiago) Burnette has invited the Patriot Guard Riders’ presence for the viewing and funeral services. SGT Julia (Santiago) Burnette was a member of the Philippine Women’s Auxiliary Corps, a Filipina Guerrilla during WW II. She was approved and was to be awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for her service to our Country and our Soldiers in the Philippines during WW II. This will be a 2 part mission over 2 days. Part 1. We will stage at a location near the funeral home in order to ride in as a group to pay our respects. Part 2. We will stand a flag-line at the church prior to the service to honor our Hero and her family. Please bring your 3 X 5 American flags and stand in honor and respect for our hero and her family.
