ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Family of Joseph Scavone Jr. has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for their Loved One as He stood for us. It will be our Honor to do so. SP4 Scavone served as a Field Communication Crewman in the United States Army from 1958 till 1961.

Special Instructions:

After the briefing we will stand a flag line as Family and Friends arrive for visitation between 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. At 8:00pm we will stand down and quietly leave the area.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.

Special Instructions:

After the briefing we will stand a flag line as Family and Friends arrive for the 2:00pm service. At 2:00pm we will stand down and prepare for the outdoor portion of the service in the funeral home’s parking lot. The outdoor service will be similar to a graveside service, to include an Honor’s team firing a three round volley, Taps, and a folding and presentation of the Flag.

Miz Alice and I offer our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of our departed Hero. We are grateful to this Veteran and this family, for all of the sacrifices that were made to protect us and preserve our freedoms. May your faith and your fond memories be your guiding light in this time of sorrow
