SFC Best\, 84\, honorably served 23 years in the United States Army and retired on 28 Feb 1973. He was both a Korea and Vietnam veteran. SFC Best’s numerous awards and decorations include the Korean Service Medal\, United Nations Service Medal\, National Defense Service Medal w/1OLC\, Vietnam Service Medal\, Combat Infantry Badge\, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device\, Bronze Star w/1OLC\, and the Army Commendation Medal.
