The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the final services for TSGT Joseph Jackfert, 101, US Army WWII Veteran on Wednesday, 15 Jun 16. Joe went to be with the Lord on 11 Jun 16.

Joe served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII with the rank of Technical Sergeant in Company C in the 201st Infantry Division. He supervised 80 men unloading military supplies from ships onto trucks for delivery to the warehouse of the Quartermaster, in addition to assigning men to specific duties in the Aleutian Islands.

Services will be held at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main St., Wellsburg, WV (http://tinyurl.com/j8ffcff) beginning at 1100.
Ride Captain Cheryl Skinner is the designated Ride Captain in Charge of this most Honorable mission.
Staging will be at the funeral home at 0930.
Briefing at 0945 with flag line in place prior to the start of visitation at 1000.

At the conclusion of services, flag line will be established as Joe is moved to the hearse for his final journey to Franklin Cemetery in Wellsburg (http://tinyurl.com/gnc7cq3). Escort WILL be provided.

Flag line will be established and maintained during military graveside rites.

Early weather forecast is for temperatures in the upper 80’s with a 60% of showers. Please dress and travel accordingly, ensuring you keep yourself well hydrated.
