ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been invited to stand for Joseph Andrew Thomas III, age 69. Joseph served in the Oregon Army National Guard from 20 March 1969 to 19 March 1984. He started his service as a 13B Field Artilleryman and then became a 13D Tactical Operations Command Vehicle Operator. He was Honorably Retired at the rank of SFC (E7). His last unit was C Battery 2nd Battalion 218 Field Artillery on Cornfoot Rd. He earned the Armed Forces Reserve Medal – National Guard w/ bronze hourglass, an Army Commendation Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Expert M16A1 Badge. Please join us as we pay our respects and honor his service to our nation.
