ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mr. Garcia was drafted into the Army in 1951 and served as a half-track mechanic. He was sent overseas to France in support of the Korean War, and would eventually get out of the Army in 1953. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and spending time with his family.
