DESCRIPTION:Johnny Ray “Bones” Findley\, 70\nU.S Navy Vietnam Veteran\nHermiston\, Irrigon\, OR\n13/AUG/16\n\n\n\nLadies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders\, we have been requested to participate in honors for Vietnam War hero Johnny Ray “Bones” Findley\, E4\, U.S Navy. \nJohn enlisted in the U.S Navy when he was 17 and served 4 years from 1963 to 1967 as a Boiler House Foremen. John was an extremely hard farm worker and not afraid of any kind of work.  In later years he changed employment and worked for Hermiston Foods until his health forced him to retire.  John had a love for racing and motorcycles. The following sums John’s life until his passing 8 Aug 16: “With high octane fuel in his blood\, a racers heart that beats to its own drum\, burning rubber in his lungs\, we all thought he could live forever.  Sometimes the ones that have the fuel of life leave us too soon.
