ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family and friends of Sergeant Johnny P Anderson have graciously requested the Patriot Guard Riders’ presence to stand a flag line for his service at Jacksonville National Cemetery as they show their final respects to their hero. Sergeant Anderson enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1967 and served honorably until his discharge in 1970. While in Vietnam, he served as a machine gunner. His last duty station was at Weapons Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. Johnny’s personal awards include the National Defense Service Medal, Purple Heart with bronze star, Cross Of Gallantry w/Palm, Vietnamese Service Medal with bronze star, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Bronze Star Medal with Valor.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
