There will be a short mission and safety briefing to include staging bikes for the procession to DFW National Cemetery.
That completed, we will then establish the Flag Line and stand “tall and silent”.
The certificate will be presented to NOK prior to departure to the cemetery.
Upon arrival at the DFWNC Visitor’s Center, Honor Bikes will turn into the assigned staging lane while the remaining riders will proceed to the designated committal shelter to help set the flags and await the arrival of the procession.
COVID-19 protocols stipulate that riders must have face masks/coverings available for locations where they are required to include DFW National Cemetery (i.e. when family/guests interact with you, when entering the church or funeral home, while standing the Flag Line and when social distancing of 6′ is not possible). Starting Time 1pm
Riders not participating in the procession will stage at the DFWNC Visitor’s Center for a short briefing.
Any additional Honor Bikes needed will be selected at this time.
Remaining riders will then proceed to the designated shelter to set the flags.
Riders will stand “tall and silent” during the committal service, after which flags will be returned to the storage locker.
We will then have a short debriefing and be dismissed.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
