ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of Cpl John W. Meadows (77), United States Marine Corps, to stand in his honor and escort him to the Barrancas National Cemetery. Cpl. Meadows served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 1961 to November 1965. His awards and decorations include the Nat’l Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.

Special Instructions:

Naval Air Station Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather foot wear covering the ankles, and appropriate eye protection. This attire will always be maintained while riding aboard NAS Pensacola.
