ABOUT THE MISSION:
John W. Tolbert joined the Alabama Army National Guard during his Junior year in high school and was activated his Senior year during the Korean Conflict but was not deployed. After completing high school he joined the Air National Guard and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant with 40 years of service. SMSgt Tolbert served on missions that took him to France, Puerto Rico, Germany, Italy, and to many states across our country while in the ANG.
