ABOUT THE MISSION:
1SG Hicks honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Army for 27 years until his retirement on 01 Feb 1993.1SG Hicks was both a Vietnam and Gulf War Veteran receiving the following awards; Bronze Star Medal w/ 2 OLC, Meritorious Service Medal w/ 4 OLC, Army Commendation Medal w/3 OLC, Army Achievement Medal w/ 3OLC, Good Conduct Medal 8th Award, National Defense Service Medal 2nd Award, Vietnam Service Medal w/4 stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/ 2 Bronze Service Stars, Saudi Arabia/Kuwait Liberation Medal, and various other awards and decorations. We will escort 1SG Hicks from Olive Baptist Church, Warrington Campus to the hallowed grounds of Barrancas National Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered at 2:00 PM.

Special Instructions:
Naval Air Station requires; long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection. This attire will be maintained always while riding aboard the Air Station.
