John V. Sorensen, of Grafton, WI went to his eternal home with Jesus on September 28, 2018, surrounded by his family. John was born in Stone Bank, WI on August 31, 1938, where he grew up helping his dad on the family farm and teasing his younger sisters. John joined the U.S. Air Force in 1956 and served with pride in Korea, Asia, and the United States. He married in 1962 after leaving the Air Force and they soon settled in Cedarburg, WI. After his wife went to heaven in 2005, John again found love with his longtime friend, marrying in 2008. Together they enjoyed years of travel, fun, and companionship. A strong patriot, a highlight of his later years was his Honor Flight trip in 2016.
