The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to stand for another veteran. PVT O’Keefe served three years in the USA as a vehicle mechanic, with one-year service in Korea after the war. His wife of 34 years says they were avid bike riders in their earlier years. Our Hero also served as a police officer in California after separating from the USA. He later moved to Florida and worked in building construction. We have been asked to stand a silent flag line at the funeral home visitation and again before the next day church service. We have also been invited to partake of lunch with the family and friends after the church service. After lunch we will ride in escort to his final rest at the Georgia National Cemetery. This will be a two-day mission on June 3rd and 4th. There is another PGR mission in the GA NW area around mid-day on June 3rd. Please plan to attend both on June 3rd and return for the second part of this mission on June 4th.

Meet in the parking lot for a short briefing before standing a 2-hour flag line from 6-8 PM. We will then dismiss for return to the church in the morning.

Meet in the church parking lot for a briefing before standing a 1-hour flag line as the family and friends arrive for the 11:00 AM service. PGR are invited to partake of lunch with the family at the church after the service, approximately 12 Noon. We will depart with LEO escort at approximately 1:00 PM to the Georgia National Cemetery.

For those who are joining us at the GNC, meet at the flag-pole area between PIC and shelter one for the 2 PM service. Bikes park on the sidewalk at the top of the hill. Cages park on the road going up the hill, or down the other side if no space is available. Be sure to leave room for other vehicles to proceed on the roadway. After a briefing we will proceed to the assigned shelter.
