Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been requested to stand for U.S. Army Veteran, John Steven Nix, 65. SP4 Nix served in the Army, 1968-71. He served three tours in Vietnam. John passed away on May 10th, 2015 from Ischemic Heart and Lung Cancer due to Agent Orange. Due to unfortunate circumstances, John was buried without his family present and without Military Honors. We have been invited to join his daughter and grandson as Military Honors are rendered for SP4 Nix. John is one of the 2016 honorees at The Wall in Washington D.C. this year as part of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s Memory Program. The Memorial Program “honors Vietnam Veterans whose lives were cut short as a result of their service in Vietnam, but are not eligible for inscription on The Wall under Department of Defense guidelines”. Please join us as we help support his family, pay our respects, and honor his service to our nation.
