The family of John R. Collins has invited the Patriot Guard to stand in honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery for honors.
Trahan Funeral Home 429 Yokum Court is in charge of the services. There will be no flag line at the Funeral Home. Private Collins served two years one month and 27 days with HqBtry, 1stBn, 12thMar, 5th Marine Amphibious Brigade.
NOTE: The Naval Air Station requires that we ride with long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, leather footwear covering the ankles, DOT approved helmets and appropriate eye wear while riding on the base.
Itinerary:
1030 – Begin staging, McDonald’s at 2120 W. Fairfield Blvd.
1115 – Safety Briefing, All riders will attend
1130 – KSU
1145 – Arrive Trahan Funeral Home
1200 – Roll time w/LEO
1235 – Honors at Barrancas
