The family of Airman Basic John Ray Riley has requested the Patriot Guard Riders escort their loved to his final resting place at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He was in Vietnam 20 Sep 65 – 14 Oct 65. Mr. Riley was discovered through the efforts of the Missing In America Project (MIAP).
This mission is ON Post so the following are required for entry: DOT helmet, Long-sleeved jacket, full-finger gloves and over the ankle boots.
NO ORGANIZATIONAL LARGE FLAGS WILL BE PERMITTED DUE TO MIAP’S INSURANCE POLICY. Branch specific and American flags are encouraged as are POW/MIA.
Riders will be met at the front gate at 1400 hrs. and will escort Mr. Riley’s to the cemetery.
Staging: 27 May 14
1400 hrs. (2:00 pm) – Stage at Ft. Leavenworth Front Gate, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas
1415 hrs. (2:15 pm) – Escort to Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery, 395 Biddle Blvd., Ft. Leavenworth, KS
