ABOUT THE MISSION:
Mr. Phillips served in the Army during WWII. He was wounded in action during the conflict at Munda New Georgia in the Solomon Islands and medically discharged in 1944. His awards include the Purple Heart and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one star.
