ABOUT THE MISSION:
John Miller was born on 23 May 1926 in Jay, Oklahoma.
John entered into the United States Army on 17 October 1944 and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge on 21 November 1946.
Upon discharge TSGT Miller returned to Oklahoma and taught in the Oklahoma school system for thirty years until retirement. He was also an avid photographer. TSGT Miller and his wife moved to Casa Grande, Arizona after retirement where their daughter lived to enjoy the winter warmth.
TSGT Miller passed on 5 June 2017 leaving a legacy of his wife, three children, nine grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren along with many family and friends.
