ABOUT THE MISSION:
John Mark Pittman joined the United States Air Force on May 27, 1975. He served as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist at the 443 OMS, Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma for his four years in the Air Force. He received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award during that time.

Directions to the cemetery will be given by the Ride Captain. There will not be a service at the Church. We will meet the family at the church and proceed from there to the cemetery via Lindale, LEO will pick us up after crossing I-20 into Lindale. The cemetery is Hopewell Cemetery next to Hopewell Baptist Church, 11589 CR 494, where we will stand a flag line while the remains will be interred.
