The family of John M. Riedel has requested the presence of the Arizona Patriot Guard Riders for services and military honors. It will be our honor to participate.
John served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1973. He served two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. John was honorably discharged in September 1973 having attained the rank of Captain.
While in the service of his country John received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Army Aviation Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
