ABOUT THE MISSION:
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Family of Sgt John J. Johnson Sr., United States Army, to stand in his Honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Sgt Johnson served in the United States Army from Aug 1965 to Aug 1970 including duty in Vietnam and Korea as a Casualty Assistance Attendant. Mr. Johnson was awarded the Good Conduct Award, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and both the Vietnam Service and Vietnam Campaign Medals. Mr. Johnson was born on 19 Mar 1944 and passed from this earth at the age of 76 on 7 Feb 2021. We will meet the family at Faith Chapel North, 1000 Hwy 29 S, Cantonment, Fl. Honors will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00p.m. at Site “A”.

2:00 PM – Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery, Site “A”

Naval Station Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection. This attire will be worn at all times while riding aboard the base.
Face masks are mandatory at all times during the mission from briefing until completion except when riding. Individual hand sanitizer is encouraged. Maintain 20 ft distance from family and 6 ft minimum between riders. At end of Mission, return flags to trailer/vehicle for sanitization.
