John “Jack” McKenna, Veteran
Exeter, Rhode Island – 06-23-20
ABOUT THE MISSION:
Patriot Guard Riders and associates, the family of Mr. John “Jack” McKenna have asked us to stand in honor of their loved one. Jack was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He came home and raised a family and was an active member of his community. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and organized a food drive for injured workers at Brayton Point Power Plant where he was a welder, mechanic and rigger for 30 years. He was also the beloved uncle to our Kat, who organizes fundraisers for RI Fire Chiefs, the organization responsible for our area Honor Flights. Due to ongoing COVID 19 restrictions, there will be a flag line at the cemetery only. The line will assemble outside the main gate of the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
