John J. Sabourin, 86, of Watertown passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. John was born on August 27, 1932 in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph and Eleanore Sabourin. John married on October 26, 1957 and the couple was blessed with 61 years of marriage before her death on December 26, 2018. John proudly served our country in the United States Army for 2 years before being honorably discharged for being wounded by mortar fire in the Korean War. Medals he received were Purple Heart, UNSvc- National Defense SVC, and Good Conduct Medal.
