We have been requested to stand in Honor of another World War-II Hero. John J. Mikula passed away on May 18th at the age of 96.
Cpl. Mikula very proudly served from 1942-1945 as a Machinist with the US Army Air Force 862nd Bombardment Squadron, and served in the European Theater for over 2 years. The 862nd was involved in the Air Offense Europe, including the Ardennes, Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland. He was Honorably Discharged on 23 September 1945 with the rank of Corporal.

Acknowledging that this is very short notice, and there are other Missions occurring on Saturday, please do whatever you are able to help Honor WW-II Hero John Mikula and to support his proud and loving family. Those of you in the vicinity of Niagara Falls: Please try to help with this Mission.
Please be prepared with a clean 3×5 American Flag. Dress for the weather, bring a beverage for hydration, and ensure your bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.
