DESCRIPTION:Honor Mission\nSFC John H Ostman\, Retired\nUSA – Korea\nHot Springs\, Arkansas – 07-12-19\n\n\n\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThe Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to help honor Sargent First Class John H. Ostman. SFC Ostman served with honor a full career\, retired\, and was then requested to return to the US Army. He was a Counter Signal Intelligence Specialist and later served as a Signal Security Specialist Instructor. He served a total of 25 years before he was honorably discharged. SFC Ostman received the Army Commendation Medal\, Army Achievement Medal\, Army Good Conduct Medal\, National Defense Service Medal\, NCO Professional Development Ribbon\, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon. After his distinguished career\, he then became a helicopter pilot and worked in the federal police and correctional/detention arenas. Survivors include his two step-sons and a step-daughter.
