US Army WWII Veteran
Antioch, Ingleside, IL
19 Sept 16
John G. Trinca was a young Staff Sergeant with the 24th Infantry Division during WWII. He fought in the Philipines in 1945 and was awarded numerous medals to include a Bronze Battle Star and Combat Infantry Badge (CIB). The CIB is only awarded to an infantry or special forces specialty which has actively engaged in ground combat.
He leaves behind his dear friend Nancy, 3-sisters, 4-grandchildren, and 3-great grandchildren. In addition, many friends in the community.
It was Mr. Trinca’s request to have the IPG participate in his last call to duty and we fulfill
that request.
