ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of US Army, WWII Veteran, John F. Dente, including MA PGR Member Ken Austin (son-in-law), has requested our presence at the wake and interment of their beloved Hero. John served our country in the US Army from 1943 – 1945. He was attached to Co. D, 720th Military Police Battalion as a truck driver. John saw action in New Guinea and Luzon. He was awarded the American Theater Campaign Ribbon; the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon; the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star; and the Good Conduct Medal. John retired as a letter carrier for the US Post Office, in Worcester.
