It is our honor to do so. CPO Wipper passed away in Hogansville\, GA on 21 September 2019 after a long battle with cancer. He was 73 years old. Chief Wippler served his country in the the US Navy retiring after 20 years. Chief Wippler served two tours in Vietnam and among his many decorations were the Vietnam service Medal with two bronze stars\, Vietnam Campaign Medal\, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon and National Defense Service Medal.
