ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Chief Petty Officer John E Wippler Jr. has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor their loved one’s service to our country. It is our honor to do so. CPO Wipper passed away in Hogansville, GA on 21 September 2019 after a long battle with cancer. He was 73 years old. Chief Wippler served his country in the the US Navy retiring after 20 years. Chief Wippler served two tours in Vietnam and among his many decorations were the Vietnam service Medal with two bronze stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon and National Defense Service Medal. We will stand a flag line for Chief Wippler’s graveside service on 28 September 2019
