ABOUT THE MISSION:
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders, we have been invited to honor a revered member of the United States Military. The family of John E. Cowgill, Jr., has invited us to stand a flag-line of honor and respect. It will be our honor to do so. Hero Cowgill served in the United States Navy from March 1953 to February, 1957, earning the rank of E4 and was a Pipe Fitter Third Class, attached to the USS Mauna Loa (AE-8). FP3 Cowgill was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Thank you, Mr. Cowgill, from a grateful Nation, your faithful dedication to serve the United States of America is deeply appreciated, and will never be forgotten.

We will then escort their loved one to his final resting place in the grounds of St. Charles Memorial Gardens, for his final Military Honors.
