John David Pulliam, 74,  served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, retired from Windstream in 2009 as a cable splicer. He enjoyed fishing, working in his gunshop but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. American Legion Post #93 will conduct military graveside rites and the funeral will be escorted by the Patriot Guard Riders.
