John D. Nail, Jr. Comment

  1. ***MISSION ACCOMPLISHED*** Today the North Texas Patriot Guard Riders honored the service of Lt. Col. John David Nail, Jr. – United States Air Force (Ret.), as we Stood Tall and Silent during his committal service at DFW National Cemetery. The certificate of our appreciation was presented to the family prior to the committal service.

A very special thanks to Mark and Laura, who so tirelessly get our Missions out to the Riders; to Dan for getting the Missions posting on the National website; to Rick for helping park the family; to John for escorting our hero to the shelter; and to Mike, who took the photographs showing this family the true face of the Patriot Guard Riders, those who so willingly give of themselves and are found standing in the Flag Line.

To Linda, and all of Mr. Nail’s family and friends, thank you for allowing the Patriot Guard Riders to stand today in honor of this American Veteran. May God comfort you in your loss.

    Tom Hardin
    Ride Captain
