Jones\, Jr.\, 59\, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participate in his committal shelter service.   CMSGT Jones retired after 31 years 8 months of service in the United States Air Force and earned the Meritorious Service Medal w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters\, Air Medal\, Air Force Commendation Medal w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster\, Air Force Achievement Medal\, Air Force Outstanding Unit and Award w/Valor w/7 Oak Leaf Clusters\, Air Force Good Conduct Medal w/7 Oak Leaf Clusters\, National Defense Service Medal w/1 Device\, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal\, Vietnam Service Medal w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters\, Air Force Overseas ST Ribbon w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster\, Air Force Overseas LT Ribbon w/6 Oak Leaf Clusters\, Air Force Training Ribbon\, Foreign Decoration\, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross w/Devise\, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.  John served 8-2-90 to 9-30-92 in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.  Veteran Jones died a number of years ago at age 59.
