John Clair Petges, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

John Clair Petges is a United States Army and United States Army Reserve Veteran. John was inducted on Sept. 28, 1966. John’s Military Occupational Specialty was Clerk Typist. John served 4 years, including 1 yr., 1 month, and 1 day with the Army Service Component Command Europe. 
John’s last duty assignment and major command was with Headquarters, Battery 6, Battalion 9, Artillery. On Sept. 8, 1968, John was released from active duty and transferred to the United States Army Reserve Control Group. On Sept. 27, 1972, having attained the rank of SP5, John was honorably discharged. During John’s service, he completed education training in Course A – non-judicial punishment and Course B – Military Justice.John was awarded the National Defense Service Medal for his service to our country.
