ABOUT THE MISSION:
Missing In America Project (MIAP) has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to escort the cremains of a previously unclaimed Veteran from the Myrtle Beach, SC area to his final resting place at Florence National Cemetery. The honorably discharged Veteran is US Air Force Airman 2nd Class (now Airman E-2) John Charles Kerr. He served 1963 to 1966. This Veteran honorably and faithfully served his Country when called upon to do so and deserves to be buried with the honor and dignity he has earned. The PGR has been asked to stand for this veteran and we are honored to be a part of this mission. This is a rain or shine mission.

After the briefing, we will escort the MIAP transport vehicle to Florence National Cemetery. We will have LEO assistance from the Aynor Police Department and Horry County Police.
Upon arrival at Florence National Cemetery, riders will safely park as directed by FNC staff and join the flag line that is already in place.
