Mr. Ellis was born on August 11, 1925 in Downsville, Louisiana and passed away on June 16, 2016. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees on the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Theater during WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years 355 days and is survived by one son and two daughters.
