ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of U.S. Army retired SFC John ‘Buddy’ Rumph has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand for him.
John served his country for 22 years, later driving for Eckerd’s Pharmacy for 20 years. Mr. Rumph was a faithful member of New Georgia Baptist Church and was known as ‘The Candy Man.

Briefing time will be 1:15 pm
We will stand a Flag Line of Honor from 2:00 pm until the service starts at 3:00 pm.
Then we will stand down during the service.
Rendering honors as he is brought to the hearse and then depart for Melrose Hills Cemetery in a Law Enforcement led procession of approx. 1.6miles.
At Melrose Hills Cemetery, we will form another flag line and stand as Military Honors are rendered.
