John Anthony Karr Comment

  1. After Mission Report – 3 May 2019 – SP4 John Anthony Karr, USA Vietnam Veteran, Tulsa, OK

Flags were staked prior to staging at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home and the entrance door was manned as family and friends arrived for the service of SP4 John Anthony Karr, USA Vietnam Veteran. When the service started, the flags were gathered and stowed for the next mission.

We then moved to Fort Gibson National Cemetery where flags were again staked ahead of the arrival of our hero. A respect line formed as he was moved to the Committal Shelter and the USA Honor Guard played Taps and folded and presented the flag to the family. The PGR subsequently thanked the family for allowing us to participate then read and presented the PGR Plaque and Invocation.

Thank you to the family for asking us to join in the celebration of their hero’s life. Most of all thank you to SP4 John Anthony Karr, USA Vietnam Veteran for your service to our great country, you will never be forgotten.

    Sincerely,
    Dan “Big D” Koehling
