ABOUT THE MISSION:
John was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War earning the Combat Action Ribbon. He was an active member of the VFW Post 5398 in Pittsburg and American Legion Post 243 in Mount Vernon.

Riders will stage at the Visitor’s Center for the mission briefing. At that time, four honor bikes will be identified and moved to the staging lane to accompany the procession.
The remainder of the riders will proceed to the designated committal shelter and establish the Flag Line.
At the conclusion of the service, and when directed by the MRC, the riders will return the flags to storage, be debriefed and dismissed.
COVID-19 protocols stipulate that riders must have face masks/coverings available for locations where they are required. (i.e. – when family/guests interact with you, when entering the church or funeral home and when social distancing (6′) is not possible.

Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
