WWII Veteran, United States Army, John A. Conway, 89
The family of World War II Veteran, John A Conway, 89, US Army, requests the Patriot Guard Riders provide a Flag/Honor line at the Funeral Home during the visitation and at Greenwood Cemetery for the Military Graveside service in York, Nebraska.
Veteran Conway honorably served his country in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific theatre during WWII; he returned home after four years of duty in 1945. John was the last surviving member of his WWII platoon. John’s oldest son, David Conway, is retired United States Air Force and the youngest son, Charles Conway, is retired United States Army Reserves.
