ABOUT THE MISSION:
The family of CWO Corbet, 94, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders presence as they show their final respects and lay their loved one to rest. CWO Corbet faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marines and performed duties as a Motor Transport Maint Officer. CWO Corbet received a “Mustang” promotion which is an enlisted person promoted directly to an officer. Upon completion of his service, CWO Corbet received an Honorable Discharge and during his time in service, awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal w/ “V”, Philippine Presidential Unit Citation Military Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Military Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal (2), American Campaign Military Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Military Ribbon w/1 Star, WWII Victory Military Ribbon, Korean Service Medal w/3 Stars, United Nations Service Medal, Philippine Liberation Military Ribbon w/1 Star, Philippine Presidential Unit Citation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, and Combat Action Military Ribbon. Please bring your 3 X 5 American flags and stand in honor and respect for our hero and his family.
