ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard will escort MSgt Jimmie D. Dixon, United States Marine Corps, to Barrancas National Cemetery and stand a Flag Line in his honor. MSgt Dixon served for over 20 years and was honorable retired March 31, 1987. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, 5TH award, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 star, Sea Service Deployed Ribbon and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.

8:15 AM – Briefing for all riders
8:30 AM – KSU to Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home
9:00 AM – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery
10:00 AM – Committal services at Barrancas National Cemetery

Special Instructions:
NAS Pensacola requires long sleeve shirts, long trousers, long fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and appropriate eye protection.
Face masks are mandatory and will be in place upon arrival at the staging area through completion of the mission. It is your choice while riding to remove your mask, but it must be back in place after you dismount at the different locations. Individual hand sanitizer is strongly encouraged.

Flags will be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
