DESCRIPTION:27 AUGUST 2016\nUSMC KOREAN WAR VETERAN\nSSGT JIM OBRIEN\nTUCSON\, AZ  85735 \n\nJim Obrien was born in Chicago\, Illinois\, one of three children on 18 January 1933.  \nAt  the age of 18 Jim enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  SSGT  Obriens service time to this great nation we live in was from 1950 to  1955. \nIn 1984 SSGT Obrien married the love of his life\, Beatrice.  In  SSGT Obriens civialian life he raised and trained horses and was a  lithographer.  SSGT Obrien retired in 2001 and moved to Tucson\, Arizona. \nSSGT  Obriens family said he loved his country and family.  He was known for  being a jokester\, loved just being with his family\, and really  enjoyed working with horses.\n\nSSGT  Obrien passed on 17 August 2016 leaving behind his wife Beatrice of 32  years\, five sons\, one daughter\, and many grand children. \nThe Patriot Guard Riders have been invited and it will be an honor to stand a flag line for SSGT Obrien and his family. \n\nDATE:  27 August 2016\n\nSTAGING:\nSerenity Baptist Church\n15501 W.
