The family of Jim Cannon has invited the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line in honor of his life and service to our country.

Jim enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1967, and did 13 months in Vietnam as a radio operator. He was age 66, from Isle, MN and passed on January 26, 2016.

Please come out and stand in silent tribute to Honor Jim’s life and service to our country.

1:00 pm – Stage Lane A (along fence on 34th Ave S) at Ft Snelling National Cemetery
1:30 pm – Brief
2:00 pm – Interment

Estimated release: 3:00 pm

Dismissal at RCIC’s discretion.

This is a rain, or shine mission. Please bring your 3 x 5 American Flag and anything else you may need for the duration of this mission.

“VA regulations 38 CFR 1.218 prohibit the carrying of firearms (either openly or concealed), explosives or other dangerous or deadly weapons while on VA property, except for official purposes, such as a military funeral honors. Possession of firearms on any property under the charge and control of VA is prohibited. Offenders may be subject to a fine, removal from the premises or arrest.”
