ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been invited to Stand a Flag Line in honor of SP4 Jessie Ollie Dwight Brooks, United States Army, and to escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola. SP4 Brooks honorably served in the United States Army for 4 years 8 months and departed this earth on August 23, 2020 at age 84. He received the following awards: National Defense Service Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal (Austria). We will escort SP4 Brooks from Olive Baptist Church, Warrington Campus to Barrancas National Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered at 11:00 am.

10:45am – KSU to Barrancas National Cemetery w/no Escort
11:00am –Honors at Barrancas National Cemetery

Special Instructions:

NAS requires long sleeve shirts and trousers, long-fingered gloves, DOT approved helmets, leather footwear covering the ankles and proper eye protection while riding aboard the base.
Covis19 precautions will be observed per PGR State Guidelines, including the mandatory donning of face masks (covering both mouth & nose) during the mission. Social distancing of 6 feet, 20 feet from the family and the use of hand sanitizer encouraged. Upon mission conclusion, flags to be returned to the trailer/vehicle and sanitized for stowage.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
