Just to share something here, the request came from Cheryl, the daughter of Buddy. Cheryl was my visiting nurse for a month when I was hooked up to an IV pump and we got to be friendly, even speaking a couple weeks ago about getting together. I received the call today, her Dad has passed unexpectedly and she wanted us to be there. I told her we would be honored. Buddy was also a member of the Elks and was known by some of our members in the PGR.
Due to short notice on this mission and it being a Monday morning and the request being for three spots, I would like everyone wishing to attend the flag line, to choose at least one location if you want to make it but can’t get to staging or finish at Exeter, I commend so many of you for what you do but if you can’t make the entire mission, please never hesitate to make part of it. That said, we will have to do some splitting up to make this happen.
8:20 Ianotti Funeral Home (no later)
9:30 Emanuel Lutheran Church
Aprox 11:15 Exeter Veterans Cemetery
Advance parties will be sent to both church and cemetery. If we get enough people, I would like to leave two flags behind at the funeral home and the church for when the family comes out. So, if you can only make it to either one of the locations, if you wouldn’t mind, you can stay with the flag and take it home with you. I will get them.
Thank You,
