ABOUT THE MISSION:
ST3c (T), Steward third class (Teacher) Jerry Milan Sims was a US Navy veteran serving during World War II from November 27, 1943 to January 5, 1946 when he received an Honorable Discharge. For his service, he was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Asiatic – Pacific Campaign Medal.

Prior to the riders briefing at the Visitor Center, four honor bikes will be selected to accompany the coach to Committal Shelter B.
After the riders briefing, the PGR will stand the flag line at the designated shelter.
The Sims family has requested the PGR assist as pall bearers.
Upon conclusion of the Interment Service, the flags will be furled and returned to storage followed by rider debrief and dismissal.
