His family has requested that the PGR attend his services. The mission is a ‘go’ and all contacts have been made. Mr. Jerry Eugene Vail served in the Army in anti-aircraft guided missile batteries in Connecticut and Texas, 1958-1961. His medals include Marksman Badge (Carbine) and Marksman Badge w/Msl Bar. After his service in the Army, he became a Division One Electrical Engineer as well as a welder.
Services: 6:00 pm Monday, May 9th at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 965 Ralph Nerren Road, Huntington, Texas 75949, under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin, Texas.
Staging: at the church from 4:00 to 4:30 pm with a riders meeting at 4:30. The mission will be a Flag line at the Church only. All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to Flag Line. Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).
