Jerry served honorably in 1969 and 70. After his Marine Corps service\, Mr. Mitchell served Clayton County as a fire fighter/EMT. He later worked with South Atlanta Ambulance as an EMT. After a stint in Pest Control\, Jerry returned to the medical field as a medical technician at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
